Pat Tootle

Patricia Ann Osborne “Pat” Tootle, age 76, of Lyons, died Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Heritage Inn Nursing Facility in Statesboro after an extended illness.  She was a lifelong resident of Toombs County.  She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.  Early in her life, she enjoyed dancing, traveling and fishing, but in her later years, she found much enjoyment in spending time with her grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnell Tootle; her parents, Arlie Harvell Osborne and Ernestine Lumley Osborne; and twelve brothers and sisters.

Her family includes her three children, Sherry Beckworth and husband Robert of Vidalia, Tiffany Jackson McGuire and husband Danny of Pooler, and Anthony “Tony” Campbell of Texas; her chosen daughter, Melissa Bowen Ashberry and husband Michael of Collins; grandchildren, Robert Jordan and Holden Beckworth, both of Vidalia, Meagan Knies of McRae-Helena, Summer Bunting and husband Lee of Lumber City, Patrick Knies and wife Melody of Alamo, Aiden Mincey of McRae-Helena, Heather Purdy and husband Casey of Honea Path, South Carolina, Joshua Campbell and wife Carley of Kansas City, Missouri; twelve great-grandchildren and one grandchild to be born soon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Monday, May 9th, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Long officiating.  Burial will follow at South Thompson Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 until just prior to the service.
