Dana Dismuke

Mr. Dana Dismuke, age 46, of Vidalia, died Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia after a sudden illness.  He was a native of Oak Park and lived in Vidalia since 1999.  He was a 1994 graduate of Toombs County High School attended East Georgia College in Swainsboro and was a member of Cross Timbers Baptist Church in Vidalia.  He worked with Georgia Power, Pepsi, Harton Automotive and was service manager of Paul Thigpen Automotive in Vidalia.  Dana loved vintage Mustangs, riding his Ranger and tractor, cutting grass, deer hunting, spending time with his family and any of his girl’s activities.  Also, he enjoyed older movies, even knowing most of the dialogue of Smoky and the Bandit and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.  Preceding him in death was a sister, Tabitha Dismuke.        

His family includes his wife, Mindy Lamb Dismuke; two daughters, Marly Dismuke and Morgan Dismuke, all of Vidalia; parents, Danny and Bennie Faye Dismuke of Oak Park; one brother, Craig Dismuke and wife Elise of Lyons; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronnie and Sue Lamb of Kibbee; brother-in-law, Chad Lamb and wife Jannie of Rhine; one niece, Kailey; two nephews, Luke Lamb and Will Lamb; and several aunts and uncles.   

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 18th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home.
