Mrs. Hazel Virginia Edenfield, age 91 of Lyons, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Oxley Park Assisted Living.
She was born on May 3, 1931 in Lumber City, GA to the late Alvin Ray Durden and Bertha Virginia Carriker. She was a homemaker and attended Vidalia Old Line Primitive Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Anderson Edenfield; and her nephew, David Edenfield.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister-in-law and cousin, Doris L. Edenfield of Ailey; her nephew, Michael Edenfield of Acworth; her niece, Carol Craft of Ailey; great nieces and nephews, Julianna Clifton of Bloomingdale, Trent, Blaine, and Rachel Craft of Ailey.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 10:00am until 10:50am at Roberts – Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00am at Roberts – Stewart Funeral Home Chapel with Elder John Scott to officiate. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Savannah.
