According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.9 magnitude earthquake shook southeast Georgia at 4:05 a.m.this morning. The epicenter was approximately 4 miles west of Metter in Chandler County. According to officials, there have been no reports of damage at this time. Reports also indicate the quake was felt as far away as Columbia, SC.
