If you are a registered voter in the State of Georgia, you can view the upcoming election ballot for your county on the Georgia Secretary of State’s website.
Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger issued a press release Thursday afternoon announcing the voters in all 159 Georgia counties can see a sample ballot specifically for their voting area.
Accessing the ballots is a simple process. Just go to sos.ga.gov, click on the “Elections” tab at the top, and then click on My Voter Page. You will then need to submit your current voting information and select the county in which you vote. Your voting status will appear and then just click on the “View Sample Ballot” bar.
You can only access information pertinent to the county in which you reside or legally registered to vote. The sample ballots do include state and local offices, as well as any amendments to be decided by the voters.
While the sample ballots on the Secretary of State’s website are intended to prepare voters for the election and speed up the voting process at the polls, the sample ballots are NOT acceptable as official ballots for the election and should not be returned to the county election offices in lieu of voting or as absentee ballots. They for informational and preparational purposes only.
