Our beloved Angelica Patrice Holland Samuel peacefully entered eternal rest on January 21, 2023, in Gainesville, FL. Angelica was born to the late Willie Fred and Kathleen Holland on December 29, 1971, in Vidalia, Georgia at Meadows Memorial Hospital.
Angelica, commonly known as “Pat,” enjoyed spending time with family, solving puzzles, and talking with family and friends on the phone. She was a devout Christian and a believer in God. In early childhood, Angelica attended Faith Temple (Lyons, GA) church where she was actively engaged in the youth department, and as an adult she attended Holy Ghost Assembly (Lyons, GA).
As Angelica continued her faith journey, she met Alford Samuel. The two became inseparable. On August 19, 2015, Angelica and Alford were married at Gainesville Christian Center in Gainesville, FL. Alford’s love for his wife was endless. He dedicated his life to loving and caring for her until her demise. She is preceded in death by her parents: Willie and Kathleen Holland, sister: Janet Leigh Adams, and brother: William Holland. Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Alford Samuel; sisters: Cynthia (Howard) Johnson, Daphne (Lenard) Gainey, and Sarah (Michael) Davis; uncle: Willie (Cafronia) Adams, aunt: Betty Adams, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Public Visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 2 PM until 5 PM at Vincent R. Drummer Funeral Home in Lyons, GA.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM from the Sanctuary of Harvest Time Faith Center in Vidalia, GA. Bishop Bernard and Valentina Hill is the Pastors. Bishop Bernard Hill will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Oak Cemetery in Oak Park, GA.
