A trey from Grant Sanders opened things up before the hosts responded with a three-pointer of their own just moments later.

Middle Georgia moved to a 15-6 lead, chewing roughly four minutes off the clock in the process.

Brewton-Parker surged back by cutting the deficit to just two points with a 7-0 run highlighted by a three-pointer from Lance Smith.

Over the following three minutes, the Barons’ offensive went cold as the Knights were able to jump out to a 26-13 lead with an 11-0 run.

Brewton-Parker struggled to score, with buckets falling scarcely.

Antrell Williams knocked down a trey at the 9:37 mark before the Barons were held nearly three minutes until another shot was made with Dan Fisher scoring from beyond the arc.

Middle Georgia wrapped up the final eight minutes with a 15-8 advantage, closing out the first half with a 43-24 lead.

How It Happened | 2nd Half

The Knights came out of the break, scoring a pair of buckets in the first three minutes to extend their lead to 47-24.

Smith connected for a jumper in the paint at 16:24 to break the drought for BPC, but the hosts continued to answer.

A score from Emmanuel Green at the 14:44 mark was the first couple of points in a 6-0 run for the visitors.

Middle Georgia began to rip time away from the clock, going on an unhurried 10-1 run that extended the lead to 27 points with less than nine minutes to play.

Unfortunately for the Barons, despite scoring 27 points in the second half, the Knights were able to remain in a commanding position scoring 37 in the half.
