A walk-off hit in the bottom of the 7th inning left the Indians on the wrong end of a 4-3 loss to Brantley Co. Monday afternoon in Nahunta. The Indians would lead 3-2 heading into the bottom of the 7th but would give up two runs in Brantley County’s half of the inning as the Indians fell to 4-3 in Region 3AA play.
Tucker McDonald pitched well again in the loss, going six and two-thirds innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits while striking out three. The Indians committed three errors on the night, which led to three of the four Heron runs.
On the Offensive side, Vidalia would collect six hits on the night from six different Indians.
