4 15 24 VHS Track

The Indians traveled to West Laurens High School to face off with some stiff competition.  The ladies persevered through strong winds to come home with the win as a team.  The ladies fought through the conditions to tally up 15o points over Jeff Davis' 144 points.  The ladies brought home three individual champions with Takaiya Bacon winning the triple jump, Dreshiya Jackson winning the long jump and the 4x100 relay team with a team of Kayden Love, Journey Clements, Zaviyana Walton and J'Miya Hunt also bringing home the win.

4 15 24 Georgia Meredith

The boys continue to battle through some obstacles but managed to place 4th to West Laurens with 131 points, Dublin with 108 points, Appling with 102 points, and Vidalia with 91 points. The boys brought home two champions in this meet with the 4x100 relay of Jaydyn Young, Deante Terrell, Jerry Roundtree and Andre Jackson. Cash Driggers was our other champion as he inches closer to the school record in the 800.  Cash dominated the event with a time of 1:58.58. Other outstanding performances were turned in by freshman Andre Jackson in the 100 who finished 2nd with a time of 11.17 into a tough headwind and Sophomore Jaydyn Young running a 3 second personal best in the 300 hurdles with a time of 43.50 finishing 3rd. Georgia Meredith also had an exceptional day with a 5 second personal best in the 3200, placing 2nd with a time of 12:30.
