The RTCA Lady Crusaders graduated 10 seniors last year and have been working hard on and off the pitch to develop a young team this season. With many close contests and a competitive schedule the Lady Crusaders have worked hard to fight for a spot in the post season playoffs. RTCA clinched that opportunity last Thursday with a 2-0 region victory over FPCA from Hinesville.

Senior Bree Wimberly scored early in the second half followed by sophomore Alayna Wimpey. Freshman Maggie Bowers has stepped up and become a HUGE asset for the crusaders making several BIG saves during the contest. RTCA had to postpone their senior night due to the abundance of rain and uncertain weather conditions. But they plan to recognize their seniors Friday, April 19th at their home game versus cross town rival Vidalia Heritage.(Courtesy of RTCA)
