Linda Anderson Webbe, age 70, of Mt. Vernon, died Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of
New Castle, England, but lived most of her life in Florida until moving to Mt. Vernon a year ago. She was a front end manager with Albertson’s Grocery in
Florida. She enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends, but she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty years, Keith Webbe; parents, James Wilson Anderson and Sarah Turnbull Anderson; one brother, Jimmy Anderson;
and one sister, Ann Emel. Her family includes one daughter, Kerry Paulsen and Kevin Fowler of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Joan Vasconcellos of Englewood, Florida; and three grandchildren, Joshua Burns, Olivia Paulsen and Isabella Fowler; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
