Louise Selph

Louise Page Selph, age 80, of McRae-Helena, died Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home in Eastman, following an extended illness.  She was a native of Appling County, and she lived there and in Montgomery and Dodge Counties most of her life.  She was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Telfair County.  She enjoyed reading, watching Hallmark, listening to music, and spending time with her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Mackie Lee Page and Nettie Leona Griffin Page; one brother, Cecil Page; and a son-in-law, Ron O’Neal.

Her family includes four children, Regina O’Neal, Andy Selph and wife Rachel, of McRae-Helena, Kurt Selph of Valdosta, and Jason Selph and wife Brook of Cedar Crossing; one sister, Betty Page of Baxley; eight grandchildren, Justin O’Neal, Michael Selph, R.L. Selph, Chelsea Selph, Parker Selph, Dawson Selph, Eli Brock, and Brailey Selph; five great-grandchildren, Addi Spires, Laylon Spires, Jensen Selph, Sophie Selph, and Seylor Selph; and several nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be held at her daughter’s home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rachel’s House Pregnancy Clinic, PO Box 2057, Vidalia, GA 30475.

Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of arrangements.
