Mrs. Louise Moore Weigand, formerly of Soperton, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Twelve Oaks Senior Living in Dublin, GA. A private funeral service is planned by the family.

Mrs. Weigand, 84, was the daughter of the late Carl Moore & Ruby Hudson Moore. She was born in Swainsboro, GA on May 16, 1939 and attended Adrian High School. After high school, she lived in New Jersey for a number of years before moving back to Treutlen County. She had been a resident of Dublin, GA for the past few years. Mrs. Weigand was a housewife and homemaker and a Baptist by faith. Her husband, Edward Weigand and daughter, Rachel Rain, both preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, George (Penny) Weber of Soperton; brother, Jerry Moore of Alabama; four grandchildren, Ryan (Shelly) Weigand and Jordan Rain, all of Soperton and George Weber and Mondie Weber, both of North Carolina; one great grandchild, Ace Martin and several nieces & nephews.
