Lynelle “Nellie” Geiger, age 53, of Lyons, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after a brief illness.  She was a lifelong resident of Toombs County and a 1989 graduate of Toombs County High School.  She was owner/operator of L.A. Geiger Insurance and Tax.  She was Baptist by faith.  She enjoyed going to the beach, spending time at her river home, and time with her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Larry Albert Geiger, Sr. and Alanna Kaye Bennett Geiger.

Her family includes two sons, Craig Wilson and wife Madison, and Conner Geiger; one granddaughter, Mayleigh “Boo Boo” Wilson, all of Lyons; one brother, Larry Geiger, Jr. of Lyons; one sister, Lisa Geiger Hower and Dennis Dixon of Mt. Vernon; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

The funeral service will be Saturday morning, May 4th, at 11:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Billy NeeSmith officiating.
