Joe and Christy Holaway of Ware’s Bar-B-Q in Swainsboro recently held a One Fore One Challenge golf outing to give back to the community and selected The Refuge Domestic Violence Shelter as this year’s  recipient of the fundraiser. The goal was to raise $3,000 and with the help of the community, the Holaways were able to present a check Thursday to The Refuge Board of Directors for $4,600!

The Refuge Domestic Violence Shelter and The Refuge Sexual Assault Center is a nonprofit organization that provides 24-hour services to victims in crisis and serves multiple area counties.
